Charlotte, N.C.-

For more than 20 years FLXON Inc. has worked with FLEXO printers to help drive waste out of their process. At this year’s FTA INFO*FLEX to be held in Nashville TN on May 4-5, the firm will feature MFLEX-PLUS®, its newest addition to the SWEDCUT® line of premium doctor blade materials. The company will be located at Booth #440 next to FLEXOART.

According to FLXON Business Development Manager, Ryan Sharkey, “MFLEX PLUS® is an entirely new grade of super refined low impact steel composed of a number of different select carbides that extend blade life while being less abrasive and wearing to an anilox surface. This new technology was developed in SWEDEN by SWEDEV AB specifically to address the special demands of High Speed HD Flexo”

Mr. Sharkey went on to say that printers report MFPlus® blade life to be two to four times greater after switching from coated or hardened blades. He also said reduced anilox damage and wear is typically reported.

FLXON will also feature the next generation G2 ProPump™ – an extremely reliable and effective peristaltic pump with more than 700 units already in pressrooms throughout North and South America and Europe. Other products include retrofit narrow web and wide web blade holders, non-leak chambers, one of the industry’s most effective filter vessels, blade edge guards and more.

To schedule a special consultation with a FLXON representative while attending INFO*FLEX 2015, appointments may be scheduled in advance by contacting Ryan Sharkey, (704)844-2434 or via email rsharkey@flxon.com.
