G2 ProTube and Tube Lube Now Available

Charlotte, North Carolina. Flxon Inc announces the all new G2 Pro Tube™ and Tube Lube.

According to Marketing Manager Mark Johnson… “until recently, two different tube chemistries were needed for the delivery of solvent or water based inks.  We partnered with a manufacturer to formulate a single tube chemistry that works with both ink systems.

What’s more, G2 ProTube Lube is a highly concentrated non-aerosol tube lubricant that will extend the life of the tubing when used in peristaltic pumps, while not degrading the integrity of the tubing.”

New 610P Doctor Blade Material Gives Long Life Without Damaging Rolls

FLXON Inc. released a new doctor blade material, 610P earlier this year.  Customers are now reporting that the blade material works remarkably better than other long-life type blades they have tried in the past.

FLXON Marketing Manager Mark Johnson states that “customers tell us they only need apply minimal pressure to get a clean wipe.  What’s more, they report not having to make adjustments or change blades during their runs.  In addition some customers are pleased that they are getting longer life, even with metallic inks,  and sharper print than with other long-life type blades, while not being concerned with damaging cylinders and anilox rolls.”  In some cases, it the SWEDCUT 610P has been a cost-effective alternative to ceramic coated blades.

BLADE CHOICE IMPACTS PRESS PERFORMANCE SUSTAINABILITY

According to Mr. Johnson… “doctor blade technology has advanced to the point that printers can now achieve a more precise and uniform ink film allowing a job to be run faster without having to stop to clean plates. At the same time, printers running this new class of performance blade report the elimination of a number of print defects including streaks, dot gain and spitting and also see a reduction in anilox wear and damage from score lines.” He went on to say these benefits far exceed the small unit premium one pays for such a blade.

FLXON Enhances G2 ProQube Filter Vessel

FLXON Inc. announces that they have integrated several new enhancements into their patent pending G2 ProQube filter vessel with this latest production run. 

FLXON President Paul Sharkey states… “we are committed to driving waste out of the flexographic and rotogravure industry and the enhancements made over the last production run do just that..”

Sharkey went on to say, “a new hinge assembly has been reinforced for better durability, we also added .5” to the top portion of the vessel to allow for more in flow into the vessel.  What’s more, we have integrated the back pressure gauge into the vessel lid and created a lid-lok feature to eliminate the potential of the vessel lid from closing unexpectedly.”
